League One: There are two early kick-offs to report on in League One, where Leyton Orient are beating Wycombe Wanderers courtesy of Randall Williams’ strike in the 66th minute. In the West Country, Bristol Rovers are losing 1-0 at home to Reading.
Should Wycombe lose to Leyton Orient, Wrexham will secure automatic promotion later today with a win over Charlton Athletic. As things stand, Leyton Orient occupy the final playoff spot, while Readingare in seventh place.
Championship: Burnley are thrashing QPR at Loftus Road, where Jeremy Sarmiento has just scored their fourth goal without reply. A win will send Burnley three points clear of Leeds at the top of the table having played one game more. Leeds host Bristol City on Monday night and have a significantly superior goal difference (+10) over Burnley going into their final two games of the season. If Daniel Farke’s side win both they’ll almost certainly be crowned champions.
Scottish Premiership: Celtic are firmly on course to win their 55th title, fourth in a row and 13th from the last 14. They currently lead Dundee United 5-0 at Tannadice with over 30 minutes left to play. Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda have scored two goals each since Dundee United’s Ryan Strain opened the scoring with an own goal.

Promoted: Both Leeds United and Burnley have booked their places in the Premier League, but the Championship title will be decided on the final day of the season. Burnley currently lead QPR 3-0 and will go three points clear at the summit with a win. Leeds don’t play until Monday night, when they host Bristol City at Elland Road.
Playoffs: Sheffield United and Sunderland have guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, while the other two places are currently occupied by Bristol City and Coventry City. Middlesbrough, Millwall, Blackburn Rovers and West Brom are all still in with high, low or extremely faint hopes of making the playoffs.
Relegation: The relegation battle looks set to go to the final day of the season, with teams from 17th still mathematically able to go down. As things stand, with Luton currently holding Coventry City at Kenilworth Road, the bottom three spots are occupied by Plymouth Argyle, Cardiff City and Derby County.
Saturday clockwatch
It’s another big day in the Premier League and beyond, with the race for the Champions League spots continuing apace in the top flight and plenty of ups and downs and playoff places to be confirmed as the three divisions of the Football League embark on their penultimate round of fixtures.
In the Natoinal League South, the English football pyramid’s sixth tier, Truro City from Cornwall lead the pack (on goal difference) going into the final day of a season in which no fewer than six of the 24 participating teams can still win the title. In Scotland, Celtic could wrap up the title this afternoon, while Bayern Munich will be crowned Bundesliga champions in a few hours time if they beat Mainz and current holders Bayer Leverkusen drop points against Augsburg.
